- Professor Haltam’s course was very well organized and easy to manage. By reading the book and watching the lectures, it is very possible to do well in the class. She was overall very helpful!
- very well organized
- This particular instructor was amazing. Not only did I learn a lot more about many of the ins and outs of comparative politics, but I also learned a lot from Ms. Abu Haltam about having a good teacher-student dynamic! Whenever I emailed her, when I felt as if some questions on the quiz may have been off, she always responded quickly, concisely, and correctly. I think that she will be a great professor of comparative politics! Her teaching style was very easy to understand, and most of the information was easily accessible and not too jumbled up in terms of where to find it on canvas. The information within the power-points on the multiple chapters from the course reflect how concise and apt she is at teaching comparative politics! She also helped me whenever I had questions about zoom and provided me with a letter of recommendation, as well as a couple opportunities here at the University of Tennessee. All in all, it was a Great course, with an even better Teacher!

- Professor Haltam is a great professor. She was very helpful in responding quickly to emails and giving good feedback. She also gave plenty of time to complete assignments.
- She was wonderful. She was very willing to provide extra help whenever needed and made accommodations along the way when asked to.
- I really liked how accessible Dr. Haltam was during the class. If there were ever any questions she would respond almost immediately, which is rare even for an asynchronous class, and she was very constructive on all assignments, showing me where I needed to improve, which was much appreciated!!
- Very understanding and created a positive learning environment. Even though it was an online class I felt as if I still was connected to the course and professor.
- I really liked how she organized and managed this class, especially since it was online it can be hard to keep things accessible and easy to find. She always responded to emails and was willing to answer questions and help me improve, which not all professors do which was so nice.
- I really enjoyed that the video lectures were set up like we were in class, because it was much more helpful when it came to the weekly quizzes that we didn’t just have the textbook as a resource.
- I really enjoyed this course. I learned a lot and she was very helpful when it came to responding to emails or needed help on a project she was open to meeting on zoom, whatever she could do to help her students succeed she did it which I am very grateful for.
